The very first poem that I ever wrote
was "THE HEART OF GOLD" in memory of
Aunt Norma & Grandma Phillips. It's
everybody's favorite. I love it because
my heart was so broken when Aunt Norma
died so un-expectantly the way she did.
All of my feeling's about her and what
she meant to me came pouring out and I
cried like a baby as I wrote the poem.

My Mother's Heart
My mother's heart is a beautiful heart
with limitless love for sharing,
A heart that is filled with the bright,
shining gift of her warm understanding and caring...
My mother's heart that finds its true joy
in giving. In sensing the needs of the people
around her and adding a richness to living.
My mother's heart is a wise, gentle heart
that sees only goodness in others-
No wonder I know, deep within my own heart,
shes's the sweetest and best of all mother's.
For you, Mother,
with love and thanks
fpr being all the special things
you are. With Love on your Birthday.
This Birthday card was given to me
from my three kid's and it's the
prettiest card I've ever seen with
such meaning. Jeannie picked this
card out for me. I thought it was
the perfect card from Aunt Norma's
kid's in memory of what she meant to
them. It describes her to a "T".
Love you Aunt Norma! xoxo

Any woman can be a mother,
but it takes
someone special
to be a MOM. xoxo
