"HEART OF GOLD" I Loved you dearly. Your smile, your laugh, your special touch, I'll miss you forever cuz I loved you so much! You cared about me like no other. That's because you were like "My Mother". Nobody knows the pain I feel, cuz the special bond we shared was so real. I know your in heaven with my dad, but Norm I can't help it that I'm so sad! There's such a hole in my heart that I can't explain, cuz I know my life will never be the same. There were times that we laughed til we cried, and it's just not fair that you up and died! Bobby and the girl's all loved you too. They thought you were beautiful, and I did too. You hold a special place in little Jason's heart, and now he doesn't understand why you have to be apart. You loved Precious Moments that's a fact. They made you keep asking me when was I going to come back? As the Hummingbird hums and the sunshines, I want you to know you'll always be mine! Uncle Don is as "PRECIOUS" as can be. You were blessed with such a wonderful family! Give all of our loved one's a hug and a kiss from me, and tell them all "HELLO" from the family. Tell Rusty we love him, and we can't help but cry, cuz we'll all miss him til the day we die! You praised me, supported me, and gave me so much love! Your special love was sent from heaven above. There were no two people like you & Grandma! You both cared about others more then yourselves, and there's no doubt about it you put your lives "ON HOLD" cuz you guy's had a "HEART OF GOLD"! Poem by: Marge Hillgartner Norma's niece I dedicated this poem "HEART OF GOLD" to my Aunt Norma & my Grandmother Delphine Phillips right after Norma died. I had it put in the Carthage Hancock county journal the anniversary of my Aunt Norma's death. This is the first of many poems that I wrote in memory of Norma & Grandma.
