MARGE 22nd October 2007

I used to tell Aunt Norma how good she smelled! In fact, I told her that the last time I saw her and she said she didn't know about that and I told her, I did! Shirley agreed with me. Aunt Norma had been saving back a big box of perfume that her kid's gave to me because Wilm said they thought she'd want me to have it. It was so sweet of them to give it to me and I'll keep in forever as a keepsake of her always smelling so good! Grandma told me more then once that my dad always used to say that his sister Norma was the prettiest heavy set woman he ever knew. She always looked nice and took good care of herself! She just had too darned many health problems and it got to be too much for her. It was beyond devastating for her to sit by and watch Uncle Don deteriorate daily and NOT be able to do anything about it. She felt so helpless as their kid's did. I believe that things happen for a reason and that God took Aunt Norma's hand and took her home first because he knew that she COULDN'T stand losing her beloved husband of 47 years! I was told that she cried and said she didn't know what she would do if anything happened to Don! God knew exactly what he was doing. I felt so sorry for poor Uncle Don not being able to express his grief or anything when Norma died. Aunt Norma told me that she lost her husband a long time ago..then she passed away before him and he tells Crystal that he didn't get to tell Norma good-bye! How sad the way things end sometimes. But, we all know their both together again in heaven and their happy and out of those tormented bodies! Their at peace and knowing that does bring me comfort as I know it does all of you! Sometimes I think about that song "ONE MORE DAY"! BOY, Wouldn't it be something to see all of our loved one's just "ONE MORE DAY"? I don't want to die for a long time yet, but I am excited about seeing all of our loved one's again someday...especially my parents that I haven't seen for over 40 years now! Their all together up there in heaven having a great time talking about all of us down here you can bet on that! Thank-you kid's for thinking of me.
